Cheers for your support all, I probably dont deserve it tho,

I was leaving a petrol station and the service road that led to the main A-road was full of compacted snow, I went to turn right at the corner and ended up going straight on and into a set of neatly placed steel railings.

In my defence, I have just returned from holiday and so I probably took the conditions a bit for granted and didnt appreciate how bad they actually were. Kinda stupid I know and unfortunately gonna pay for it.

Never mind, I'l get her back up to scratch(ouch) soon hopefully

On a bonus side, maybe the few stones chips that you may have had on the bonnet/leading edges will be sprayed away!
Horrible feeling sliding into something, and even worse when there is nothing you can do about it. At least its only minor damage.
Huge excess mind you, ouch that will sting. I know how you feel, had £500 set aside for some larger wheels, then 72K service and cambelt came along. Doh.

Thanks again all. Took it to a chap called Jim today who deals in body repair work for Mango's. He said he's going to send me out an estimate so I can get on to my insurance company to get it sorted, although they werent too keen on me choosing a garage, they wanted me to go with their choice, but tbh I dont trust it with any other garage other than Alfa specialists.
