Hi guys, just after some advise on fitting a cup rear spoiler?

The plan is to fit the spoiler to the spare boot I have and then just swap it over when I fancy the spoiler look or non spoiler look.

So I have just clean down the spoiler and the spare boot, removed all the rear badge and lock and lined the spoiler up against the boot and it looks like if I drill the holes through the boot lid I still Won't be able to access the bolts for the spoiler so then drill through the back of the boot to?

So going to do this tomorrow now and just after any tips or advise from anyone who has fitted the spoiler them self?

I have a spoiler on my GTV but the boot lid is a bit dented (the original boos and spoiler were damaged by a car wash and the replacement boot got dented in transit... Not my poor driving!). I am getting a new boot delivered today and will hopefully swap them over this weekend. I'll take some photos if where the holes need to be and get them posted on here.

You could always buy a third boot lid with the spoiler already attached off a breaker.

Sure there would be a few floating around and at reasonable prices.

Saves you the hassle of drilling etc

It's finding one in Nero black is the problem I'm just going to go for it as it's a spare boot.

you need tiger seal or similar

do NOT rely just on the bolts for securing it
