I'm looking to remove the kick panels (those strips of plastic and aluminium just inside the door) from the GT so that I can
A. Access the carpet
B.Maybe get access to repair the sill from the top rather than underneath.

I can see two screws, one in the footwell and one directly behind the seatbelt mounting point (thank's alf!)
But even with those removed it seems to be held in by the rubber/plastic door seal and maybe something else.
I don't want to yank it too hard because my Alfa intuition tells me there's probably some hidden fasteners I don't know about...

Anyone done this before?

From memory, when I stripped out everything for some floor pan welding about 18 months ago, the kick plates just pull up vertically, they are retained by internal clips, the door seal needs removing but it's all straight forward. Not sure about the screws you mention, take them out anyway to be sure.
