Hey hey.
So I've had to remove the battery on the 159 and charge it.
Obviously this has knocked out central locking.
Simple question - how do I manually lock the passenger and rear doors so they cant be opened from the outside?
Inserting the key into the childlocks means they can be opened from the outside, no?
I've searched on here, and the manual is next to useless.
Any wisdom much appreciated, folks.

I would of locked the car with the metal insert (no alarm), then removed the battery. That would leave all doors locked.

Yeah, re connect battery, lock doors with the key, remove battery to charge - ** but don't fully click down the bonnet as you won't be able to get inside to unclick it to refit the battery**!

Surely you can still open the door using the key in the lock without needing battery power?

Oh yes, I think you're right! Forgot that the drivers door unlocks even without power.

Thanks for the tips. Lesson learnt. Central lock the doors before taking out the battery.
