I need to drain my selespeed fluid as it has gone milky. I understand this can done by disconnecting the bottom pipe on the resvior, however I need to know if the system will then require bleeding and if so how this is done?

Any help will be much appricated.

Thanks Luke

you need to make sure that the system has de-pressuired over night, so disconnect the battery, then in the morning remove the battery & battery tray, then open the return pipe [ softer of the 2 ] from the actuator to the reservoir. be sure to collect the fluid. you may need to repeat a 2nd time or let it drain into a bucket for as long as possible, consider flushing out with new oil too before putting it all back together.

once oil is in the system & you select gears the system will self bleed.
