Put up one of those bed sheets at a point you both past with 'are you an AO'er' painted on it. We get lots round here, mostly saying something like 'Hapy birhdey Shazza' on them.

I'm doing an AO sign with a small username on it for the bella's tail. At least people following will know its me.
This was it on my last bella. Graphite grey aint too in your face. Will do the same as this car's black.

Problem is spotting that the person is an AO member 'from the front' so I have two ideas -

Your numberplate HAS to be visible, so why not have an AO styled number plate? (probably because it is illegal - don't shoot me down in flames, I'm just brainstorming here - remember the alternative is the tattoo!)

AlfaBliss is on the right track with idea number two - a roundel to go either on the back of you rear view mirror, wing mirror or windscreen that you can give a quick point at as you approach.

Failing that we adopt a "secret signal" that only members know (oh, and all the people we wave at who are not members! )

Could try throwing a flyer at him s I drive by. I think he may have just bought a 156 as I sware I saw the same guy this morning but not in his black 155 but a red 156! maybe he's on here already. I did post about him a couple of months ago but no one came forward.
