I had to pay £1000 pounds, was the cheapest I found after hours of searching !

even though i have my driving license for about 6 years, and I have no points.

Maybe it is the London factor ! Even for a Nissan Micra it is around 600.

So cheap for you guys. I have checked confused.com, autotrader, moneysupermarket.com, etc. They all say the same.

However, I have no NCB

It's about £400 on my 2.0TS. Wife as named driver, plus business miles, protected NCB, car not garaged, Manchester postcode.

A V6 was about £50 a year more.

Might help if we knew how old you are too - but even so, no NCD and London are never going to lead to a cheap premium are they?!

This is probably a situation where a "real" broker can help - rather than the automated online systems.
