Mine already has them and isn't a Blackline.

I was going to buy a pair of grills with whiskers on them before i realized how much they were! I would of said yes to a pair as well but i decided to de-chrome the front of mine the other week and liked how it turned out....it may not be to everyone's taste though :)

Hi
Each to their own, but for me the Alfa grill is made to stand out and say ' Alfa Romeo'. To do that, at least for me, they do that best in chrome. That chrome Alfa nose makes an important statement to me - but only my opinion of course.

All the best

The 3D printed parts have finally arrived! Now all I need to do is stick it together, cut it to size (I intentionally had it made longer, better to have too much than too little), paint it, sand it, mold it, cast it, and then figure out how to get a good finish on it.

Great stuff fella..:)

I need some new whiskers for my new cloverleaf as the original drivers side has corroded? Strange as the rest of the car is mint? Are they easy to remove and replace? i know gluing is involved.

Well mine were super easy to remove, but that was after they started to fall off.

I'm surprised that it has corroded though, the one I have was plated with copper then nickel, and the chrome ones also (obviously) have chrome on top of that. And all these metals are meant to be corrosion resistant. Or has it all started to flake off?

Probably flaking off? looked like bubbling? Will take a picture when i get her home on tuesday. Either way i need some more, as its letting down a really nice mint car.:(

I replaced my grills with the black line ones when having the front end repaired after a deer strike looks great but I've been wondering recently what if I lost a trim ? Would have to replace the whole grill so yeah I would be interested depending on price of course , any ideas how much were talking about each mate ? .
Cheers mark
