I've got a 2006 Alfa 159, want to install angel eyes on it and wondering if anyone has done it and where they bought it. Did they fit it themselves?

Also can I have it so the indicator bulb runs a halo daylight/headlight but turns off when it's needed as an indicator?

Let me know any advice or recommendations. Would appreciate it. I live in London if that helps recommend!

The kit Samir makes is a DIY kit but he may offer a converted set on exchange (or a refundable deposit once you return usable lights to him.)
Build up is straightforward depending on the age of your lights. New ones can be dismantled using gentle heat as the glue hasn't cured yet. Old ones are impossible and require the destruction of one set to get the lenses and another for the backs.
If you've got the Halogen lamps then I'd recommend buying a set of new lamps to dismantle and keeping your originals for spares. If you've got factory BiXenons then buying a set of used Halogens is the way to go. Cutting away the body to leave the lense intact and cutting the lense of the original BiXenons. All parts are common to both types of lamp unit with the exception of the internal chrome lamp assembly.
Wiring looks simple enough, reassembly with a bit of Sikaflex/Tiger Seal is simple too.
The electronic control box lives in the cabin with cables routed around the engine bay/scuttle. The current one has a start up sequence activated by the remote door opening key fob and yes, use of the indicator will turn off the relevant halo ring.

Okay that all sounds great! Exactly what I need. Nice bonus that it comes on when unlocking the car. However is there a way to have these lights off If I want them or are they always on?

Its not a BMW!....dont do it!!!
Have to agree with that. Just worked yesterday on replacement of a chain of a 3-series. On the BMW it looks great with its lights on, a very distinctive brand mark it is. On a 159, seen from pictures and video clips only though, I find it a looking a bit weird.

On another note, the gadgets that can be made with the controller on how to switch them on and off are nice toys to have. Yet, also that is something that rather distracts me than that it is something contributing to an already great design. Like Audi's and Citroën's have their indicator lights sweeping, looks funny - but it's districtracting from safety point of view if you ask me. Otherwise for instance I'd have asked one of our forum members to fabricate me one of those "pylon 3rd brake light" conversions he has so nicely made, just for the fun of it.

System requires a power feed from the fusebox so it wouldn't take much to put an on/off switch in line to allow you to kill it whenever you wanted?

I like them but the ones you seem to get for the 159 is a harsh bright round circle where I think I'd prefer a softer light , like the bmw...
But before all that I need to get better bulbs to see where I'm going

Thank you for that ..
I'm going back about 4 years now but I saw a 159 with the softer angel eyes and it looked pretty good but since then all I've seen are the harsher brighter light which I'm not.keen on
