I wonder how the partner / wife react on our little love affair with the 155?

When your looking at those alloys / chip / spoiler she's rolling her eyes and thinks "I don't see the difference"

Washing every sunday, speaking to it, ....

We must be crazy.

Cheers

Well, I live alone!!! Problem solved wink

My girlfriend thinks I'm mad but she's not into cars at all, drives a ford escort eek! and thinks I'm obsessed, dunno what she means :D

Previuos girlfriend became an Alfa fan and still fancies a 146, doesnt like the 155 though.

My wife says she likes the 155. I think she is just putting up with my car obsession though as she likes all the cars I've owned !!!
She drives a Fiat Cinquecento nicknamed "The Turbo Terrific". She doesn't seem to mind me having this "hobby" 'cos she knows I won't be getting drunk all the time if HAVE to drive the car.

The 155 is ok, but the Giulietta .... I don't dare to mention when some new problem occurs on it. Especially after all weekends spent under its tiny body. Then there is the issue of tuning the 155 ... not so poular, or when I suggest to go by bicycle to the supermarket to avoid getting doors slammed into the beautiful 155! Well, well.

My partner liked the 255 so much she sold her very cheap and reliable ford deisil and bought it from me (quite cheaply - I`m not that mercenary). I now drive my 156 but get to drive the 155 all the time, still. Its a much better car 'around town'. The other side of the story is I suppose I will have to marry her or i may lose the 155 wink

Hi there,
Since there there is a discussion about the likes and dislikes,my partner equally thinks I am off my head but respects my space for it all,she has had escorts all her life and to be honest has never let her down until the Mk 6 ----very unreliable , cost over £1200 in 30,000 miles, hmm not made as they used to be.T he plus side is she quite enjoys driving the 155 when she has to.Alfapat :)

Well, it was my wife that picked the 155. I have a company car (Mondeo) and she has been dreaming of Alfa for years. Last year I finally had the money and told her to decide what car she wanted. After a few weeks she said that the Alfa155 is the most beautiful car in the world, she likes the lines, ....everything. I think she is even more in love with it than I am.
Also all her (female) friends love the 155 model.

My wife thinks I`m mad, and because we have 2 cars, and now only need the 1....thinks the 155 should go!
Believe me, I`ve fought it, and won!
I get to keep it!
The down side is that I have to justify it (not hard, I let her have a go!)and I have to finance it on a shoestring budget. (thats why its been off the road so long)
Ah, well, the price I must pay.....

My wife just loves the 155. She gets behind the wheel whenever she can. I think she must be leaving the lights on that Giulietta on deliberately...
She doesn't mind my tinkering with the cars all time, as it keeps me out of trouble.

Where do you all get these wives!! I want one that loves 155's.
She says she likes it, but I can tell she is just humouring me. She has driven it, but doesn't like to for fear of damaging it!! It is a mans car. Women like it but wouldn't have one themselves generally. Massive respect to any women who drive 155's!!!
I can remember seeing my wife drive off in mine from a petrol station and put her foot down a little too much for her (she has a 306 Dturbo). Didn't spin the wheels, but the sound of the exhaust and air filter really needs to be appreciated from outside the car!! I felt a warm glow inside for both my wife nad the car!!!!
