Just bought one of the Kuda Nav brackets for my 2005 156. It says I need to remove the radio & centre console cover (the silver bit around the central instruments), I know how to remove the radio but how do I remove the silver faceplate please?

from memory, there are 2 small Allen key screws near the top, above the top edge of the headuint (probably need to remove the headunit first).

the rest is clipped into position, so requires careful 'leverage' to remove, using a flat blade screwdriver or similar. try and protect the edges of the dash using something like a thin cloth rag, between the screwdriver and dash surface.

i can't remember exactly what the 'update' dash looks like. whether it's one-piece or multiple, and whether you also need to remove the ashtray and climate knobs, etc. there may also be a couple screws down near the bottom. a photo may help if you're still having trouble.

:)
