How do i get these side kick plates off

Hi guys i have just bought some beautiful shiny stainless steal side kick plates they cost a small forture but look amazing? (pics to follow)

so how do i take off the old ones in prep for new? I dont want to break them as the original are nice (matt silver) open to offers if anyone wants them.

are they glued??

If its the bit that you see when opening the door with Alfa Romeo written on they just pull off.

thats the one, a silver strip than runs across the bottom. i will have a go at pulling them off (there are no fixings on the new ss ones so fingers crossed
