Well what kind of celebration do the AO members have for new year? and what do members in other countries than the UK do to see in the new year.

Personally I am past wanting to venture into town, pay silly prices to get in a pub that is usually free and then pay £3 for a bottle of beer. So it's round friends with a crate of beer and guiness for me this year :D

It is currently 8am on January the 1st 2006 and I decided to sleep through the "new year" as it is as it is a meaningless load of old tripe! ;)

I'm a great believer in doing what I want to do on accasions like this rather than what I feel I should be doing

So I was in my Pyjamas by 6.30 last night with a glass of wine in one hand and the tv guide in the other, and my darling hubby in charge of the remote control.

Altogether it was a fantastic night :D
