Well, I was a witness of the Hondas CMBS system, which stands for Collision Mitigation Braking System, or kind of a Mercedes PreSafe, just in Hondas interpretation.

I was in the intersection, on the red light - on my right there was a car approaching, followed by new Honda Legend, driven by a middle-aged lady. The car in front stopped to let the pedestrians go buy, but the lady in the Legend wasnt really paying attention, looking on the side. I was almost ready to see the Honda slam into that cars (Focus) rear end, but the Honda stopped burried in place (she wasnt moving fast, maybe 10 mph).

You would have thought that the lady stepped on the brake, but no - she was even more surprised than me. you should have seen her confused face, it took a minute for her to have her Legend going again.

Nice feature there, as far as I know, only Honda and Mercedes use this, or am I wrong? Maybe BMW, Audi?

Volvo XC60 was the first to have it as standard.

Jeremy Clarkson didn't read the manual and totalled one.
(It doesn't work below a certain speed.)
