I got a standard lower turbo hose off ebay. Much cheaper than the silicon ones and they don't need cutting to size like the autolusso ones. The original hose lasted 112k miles.

They do need to be trimmed to size but that is easy, we made them like this so the fit 147,156 & GT as they are all slightly different lengths

The rubber standard pipe blow all the time and it is a waist of time fitting one but if you are an a really tight budget we can do you a second hand one for £20 delivered

We have sold over 6,000 of these now and never had one fail

All of our regular service customers have them fitted on their cars

By blow, you mean they eventually get a hole in them .....or are you saying they are not good from new?

£53 for AL hose, versus £24 for standard, without needing to be cut .....i'd need convincing that they were worth more than double the price.

If there is no performance difference, then I don't really see the point in paying more. On the basis that mine failed at 112,000 miles ....my next one is due at 224,000 lol. Its a real simple DIY job too.

Make a mistake with the cutting and its £££ down the drain. As you say, pay your money and make your choice.
