Hi, I have a 2010 JTDM-2 with 170bhp. It has been mega reliable and usually costs me about £500 a year to maintain including tyres. You need to get the oil and filter changed regularly if nothing else, air filter has been like new every time I've changed it. I've had to change the EGR cooler cover and the EGR valve myself but I'm at 81,000 miles and its a belter, in D mode on the right road it feels like it glides over the ground at any speed. I used to dislike the fact that you can't turn off the driver aids, but the tyres last longer than on my old 147 JTD which had 115bhp, however if you really go for it you can still get the front to slide or the tyres to really howl if you want to. It corners like its on rails and if you want even better handling there are so many people offering tuning options, suspension, engines etc. Personally I'd stick with standard and enjoy how capable these cars are.
