thanks for the warm welcomes everyone. i brought her home yesterday morning, bit of a trek but well worth it! had a big grin within half a mile of driving home cos i couldnt believe i'd finally bagged me a 166, whats more its the right colour and by coincidence had 'DJT' at the end of the registration, which is my DJ name. happy days
it feels nice to belong to a more exclusive club now, after driving the standard boring bmws etc etc for too long.
my only concern is the clunky gear changes on the sportronic box, although not allthe time, usually coming down inot first gear or up to 2nd. today the gearbox warning light came on and stayed on. i hope to god it just needs a gearbox oil change!
Hi everyone, I am a new member here but not new to Alfa's. I have always loved them since my parents owned a 1970's Alfetta back in the early 90's and a 75 in the 2000's and I've been hooked since!
I have owned 5 so far, my first car when I passed my test was a 156 1.8 TS. Now I have a 2002 Alfa...
I have a 2003 alfa 2lt 156 sports wagon it is just before the last facelift, i am looking for a offside front wing, as mine has rusted out at the bottom. Silver if possible, it seems to be hard to get. Would a facelift wing fit.
