Hi everyone,

I never owned more tools than a screwdriver and a hammer, but decided it is time to fulfil my childhood dream and get myself an Alfa 2000 GTV from 1974. I bought the car in Melbourne, got it fixed by an expert (Vince Sartore, great guy) and drove it home to Perth, 3500km across the Nullarbor. I did bring a newly purchased spanner set and owner's manual (having left the hammer at home), but was probably incredibly lucky. The car ran the distance like a dream, making this one of the best road trips of my life.

Now in Perth it’s time to fix the car’s little kinks and I am pinning my hope on your experience, kindness and patience, so I don’t screw it up.

Cheers,

Holgs
