I've just been bitten by the alfa bug and i think it's terminal. I'm cosidering buying an alfa 166, the only thing stopping me buying this one is that the ics screen is very dim in normal daylight and very difficult to see. the guy says that it takes time to warm up and it's one of the first ones they done. You hav't to put street names in rather than post codes.
could it be tweaked abit or would i hav't to buy a new/secondhand ics and sat/nav?
Also it has the gsm phone that works lovely, can i keep that?
:thumbs:Thankyou for your advice

I think that you can repair the ICS but it is very tricky and may end up costing as much as a second hand ICS unit - they go on ebay from time to time for anything from £75 - £400. This won't affect your sat nav as that is a seperate unit but you will be lucky to find another one with a phone on it.

But they don't get brighter when it warms up!
