I've recently bought a mint condition 1999 2.5 V6 156, being 8 years old it has the standard Alfa Radio/Cassette player fitted. I've just bought a new Panasonic Radio/CD player, on taking the old unit out I find that there are three jack plugs in the back of the unit whereas the new unit has one socket in the back and a cable to fit into it, this has two jack points on the end any suggestions as to what plugs into where or is this a case of a visit to an auto-electrician. I've absolutely no idea when it comes to auto electrics any help would be appreciated. Thanks

the three plugs will be power, speakers and steering wheel remotes.

to get it to work you need an adaptor that will take alfa-ISO wiring. there about £15 from halfords but you can get them cheaper. if you ask in any car audio shop what you have and what you want to do they will sort you out. the steering remote will also need a head unit specific adaptor, that is, if one is available. personally i would just use the head units controls!
