Ok I have come to change the cambelt side engine mount on my 156 1.8 TS today and hit a problem. The bolt that goes into the engine mount (the large rubber bit) is so tight and the mount is so knackered that when trying to undo the bolt it is just making the inside of the mount spin inside the metal housing. In short I can't get the damn bolt out.

As far as I can see this leaves me with 2 options. Remove the bracket that mounts onto the engine itself and take it along with the mount and then try and cut into the mount to get a grip on the inside, or cut through the bolt. The problem with the first is the bracket is mounted to the engine with a large torx/ribe bolts and I don't have a bits to get them off (anybody know what size & type they are?). So the best option appears to be to cut through the bolt. However am I going to be able to do with bearing in mind all I have is a hacksaw? And if I do what size is the bolt I need to get to replace it?
