just enquired about a headunit i want and asked whether the steering wheel controls would work... the reply i got:

"Please kindly know that the Steel Wheeling Control Function on our item is AD model. There are two kind of model for the steel wheeling control functions of our items, that is AD model and CAN BUS model, please kindly know this. And we are not sure , could you please ask your car seller or car shop about what kind of steel wheeling control model is about your car, thanks for your understanding.

If your car support the AD mode, the our item has the SW GND, SW1, SW2 cables to connect with your car.

But if your car support the CAN BUS, then the steering wheel control function can't be used, as we didn't have the

adapter for that"

please can anyone shed some help in my dierction on the above???

many thanks
scott.

The 147 does not use CAN bus for steering control, but 3 wire interface (GND, SW1, SW2 )
