Hi all,

I hope I have posted this in the correct place, apologies for being a bit thick if not!

I have been having some problems with my hood of late, horrible whining sounds and it takes about 100 attempts to get it to come down and go back up again! After doing some reading up on here, I checked out the hydraulic fluid chamber and can see that is well below the minimum mark, so I will get it topped up.

My question is this... what do I top it up with? Tutela GI/R?? I have read that it has changed slightly since the last lot available, so will I need to drain the remaining oil and replace? If so how?? Or can I just top up?

Secondly, I have had a massive problem with passenger footwell puddles and after more research on here I discovered that I am missing the cover which goes over the huge hole under the passenger side windscreen scuttle... question is, what the hell is it called?? I'm trying to find one from somewhere but am not having a huge amount of luck with no name or part number.

Any help appreciated

Liz.

The water guard may be 60615194. I say 'may be' because ePer isn't too clear in the relevant diagramme. It comes in RHD & LHD variants and is located in the right place.

You can see it here ( item 8 ) on a LHD car illustration.
FIAT ePER

I don't have an up-to-date price but it should be around £20 new if that's the correct part number.

Thanks for that!

I have had a look and agree, it's a bit sketchy?? The part doesn't look quite right to me... It's supposed to be a flat looking piece that fit's on top of the hole and this looks as though it sits in a downward position?

If only there was an 'actual name' for this lump of plastic!

Alfa never make anything easy do they!!
