Well to be honest it was a friends car so the sadness is all his...
He got it a few months back and it did drive very well with no knocks from the suspension and a nice tight gear change. It became apparent though, that the car had been run very hot at some point and the the timing belt snapped. We stripped it down and discovered that the cylinders had score marks up and down them. He was going to replace or rebuild the engine but the body work is not the best and he now has a Subaru Imprezza.
He was going to scrap the car but I thought that would be a waste of a good car.
I'm unsure though weather I should fix it, sell it as is, or break it for parts.... What do you think??
