Hi Just got a 1977 spider S2. Spent all its life in Florida, now living in north Bristol UK

Very nice....looks great. What out for the black and chrome number plates. If the over zealous cops your are anything like they are around here that will be all they need to stop you and find anything else wrong they can with your car.
Vehicles made before January 1973 (yours is 1976 im guessing) are allowed to display a traditional number plate, i.e. with white, silver or grey characters on a black plate. From April 2019, vehicles registered before the 1 Jan 1979 (1 Jan 1980 after April this year) can legally display a black and silver number plate but only if they have applied to the DVLA and are registered with the ‘historic vehicles’ tax class. So get it registered as a historic classic if you have not already done so.

Registered as Historic Classic. Still has red and orange indicator lenses
