Im new alfa fan and curently driving friends 146 but im looking forward to
monday and get my new car(164 11/93 year 3.0 v24).
I have friend who own repair service for alfa's and offten had chance to driving,testing and enjoying almost all models of alfas but 3 days ago i had strange experience..That was love on first sign
In repair shop was delivered 3-4 year not driven 164 2.0 turbo benzine? and i was amazed with first impresions..Mean..sound was so powerfull..engine sound was like bethowen symphony for my ears and i had feeling that i must sit and drive this car.
I asked my friend to say something about this car and he just said..this is best of best in cruisers and best 6 cylinders engines and started to show me books and some alfa video...i hooked up,definetly.
I dont have huge experience with alfa(im previous owner of bmw 525 and 190e 2.3-16) but i know this will be my next car
I asked my friend to find for me good 164(not decent) and after few days he found extraordinary 164 3.0 24v with tons of extra equipment.
I check on net for more info and i was stuned.
Cant find anything bad about this model!! is this true or what?almost every owner of 164 saying same:get alfa you will enjoy!
Is this true?
And one important question.
How can i recognise model without checking car manual or engine number?
My 1st impresion was on 2.0 turbo benzine with not much extra gear but second(164 what i want to buy) is totaly diferent..
Its 3.0 with 24 v and tons of extra gear..leather..board computer..cruise control..etc etc..i think its Q or QU?
Can someone tell me something more about this 164 manufactured 11/93 year..
