New to thre site after just purchasing a 2003 147 T spark 2.0 manual.

I have many questions to ask so please be nice when you answer.

Being a first time owner of one of these cars, i read all the time about the cam belts and they need changing every 60 thousand K,s. Is this right, or is there some other way of telling if they need changing. Why do they need need changing.

Also my little red girls seems to have a problem when driving with the A/C on, it sort of lurches druing acceleration, any idea what this could be.

I am also looking for advice on the best shocks to use.

Guys i have many more, but not today.

Cheers
ps
dont drink Fosters, nobody here does lol.

You should get it changed as soon as possible, it's 36k miles or 3 years on twin spark engine. Timing belts most of the time look perfect until they break, and when they break camshaft stops rotating and pistons hit the valves and bend them possibly even breaking the head at the same time.
