Wouldn't it be good if we have an "introduce yourself" thread for newbies like me to get to know local owners.

A little about me,

I'm Adam, I'm 25,
I live and work at an airfield just outside Swaffham.
I have a red 147 2.0 TS (wave if you see me:))

Now I've nearly ironed all the creases out of my 147 I'll be getting out and about.
Also looking to learn as much as I can about Alfas so if anyone needs a spanner monkey give me a shout and if I'm free I'll try and help/watch/stand there

P.S. can anyone tell I'm working nights and bored as it is 1.30am. ah well only 6 hours to go.

Bugger:lol:

I've just come across this forum for East Anglia.

I'm Sean, I'm 37 but mentally 12 years old :cheese:, I run my own business and I live in Kilverstone/ Thetford, Norfolk. I originally come from Southend and have been living up this way for ten years and take my alfa for a spin along winding A134 through Thetford forest between Thetford and Swaffam, reminds me when I took my Porsche to the Nurburgring and Stelvio pass a few years back in my Porsche.:).

I have a red gtv with a tan leather interior. Its my first Alfa Romeo and I love its styling and a certain panache style that it has, very pleasing to the eye.

I have own plenty of 1980's German sports cars and some classic Gti's, Japanese hot hatches and when I was younger I used to have a Opel Manta... thats another story.

I ve had the car for six months now and really cant think of a namr for her, need some help plz naming her

Keep an eye out for meets in the 'sticky area' at the top of the East Anglian lounge - along with my signature below.

I'm Phil, by the way; your Regional Rep. If you have any ideas for meets, or questions about any events within the region, just drop me a private message or email.

Hey Adam and Sean,

It was great to meet you at the last meet on Sunday Adam and I am sure that you will join us at the next - Phil does a great job at organising them.

Sean - welcome to both AO and EA region. I sometimes go to Kings Lynn for work and I love the A134 too - ain't the GTV just built for it?

See you at the next meet.

Yaaay - tbh I have come to the conclusion 99% of the time you can ignore it - ours comes and goes. (Did get the fault codes checked though).

The other 1% it is serious - like the time the cambelt went and it came on afterwards - so useful!

I'll definately be at the next meet in my red Gtv.

That part of the A134 is definately nice, the bends, the dips and some straight parts. A drivers road and sometimes for the hell of it, I go just for a drive on that road. I've have driven on a lot of roads across the world, my other favourite being between Los Angeles and Las Vegas. A six hour drive, you go through cities, mountains, green lush fields and finally the Mojave Desert. Amazing..

I've only driven in UK really. My favourite road here is the A57 (Snake Pass) over the Penines.

Paul I've gathered its a light that appears when the car is in a mood. Wish my wife had the same thing
