Been looking through the web for the last 2 weeks and apparently this is the best forum!

Just put a deposit down on a nice GTV and ready to pick up end of September. The reg is S916KAN, the seller (very helpful) tells me it may be Alfa's Press car in her past life. Would here be a list of press cars I can find? Think it would be quite cool to have a nice pic of my future baby :thumbs:

Also found out there were 4 past owners on this car, should I worry about this? Is the car bad enough for people to keep selling it?!

Would be interesting to here what the fans think ...

Glad I didn't say anything bad! But judging from his comment and responses throughout the threads I think I'm in good hands and the GTV I've bought is going to be a good runner

Yeah, Clive's a well known fixture here. Be interested to hear what makes him think it was a press car?

Four owners is nothing to worry about - think I'm the sixth or seventh owner of mine (since 2004). I guess people have their fun and then move on to something more practical/economical.

I'm impressed DMC knows who I'm buying the car off! I don't think I mention names (?). But Clive thinks it may be a Press car because of the 916 number plate and I'm intrigue to see if I can find press pics of her. It would be very cool if I can, if not it's no bother.

Oh, I googled the number plate as I was wondering about the press car thing, and saw it was CG Trading

Have you kept the luggage rack on there? Rare to see those on the Gtv, more commonly found on the Spider.

Decided to go for the aero spoiler instead and the teledials option. Can't wait to drive it back, GTV are quite rare here especially that colour

Tried the google approach, can't find anything. Found a few press pics on eBay might buy it and change the reg with photoshop!
