Hello everyone - I am a car enthusiast who has a special place in his heart for alfas. First car was an alfasud 1.3sc back in 1990 Next alfa was a alfasud 1.5ti followed by a 1.7 sprint, then I got my first rwd an alfetta gtv 2.0 and in 1995 I got my first v6 a 164 24v cloverleaf.

The years rolled on and I drifted a little owning all sorts of cars mainly sports saloons and hot hatches.Cars from Jaguar, Fiat, Lancia, Porsche, Mercedes, Saab, Subaru, Mitsubishi, VW and Volvo to name a few and I always went for the top of the range most sought after models. Anyway back to alfas they have always been difficult for me to part with or stay away from.

Currently I have five alfas.
Alfasud sprint 1.3 green cloverleaf in red.(1983)
Alfasud sprint 1.7 cloverleaf with zender kit (needs restoration).(1988)
Alfa 75 3.0 cloverleaf black with red leather (1990)
Alfa 164 24v cloverleaf in black with black leather (1995)
Alfa 155 2.5 widetrack in black (1995)

Other cars I have
Rolls Royce Silver Shadow in Gold Mk1 (1977)
Mercedes 560SEC in red (1989)
Mercedes s600 w140 in Black (1995)
Mitsubushi Lancer Evo 4 RS in white (1996)
Saab 9000 2.3 carlsson in white (1990)
Porsche 928 S2 in Champagne (1985)

The last 6 months has seen the 164 QV get some tlc mainly to the under-carriage, suspension and brakes. Sourcing new parts has been difficult but not too bad - well I hope thats some what sufficient for an intro and I hope to post what I have been doing with the 164 in another thread.

Happy driving, servicing, restoring, admiring, cleaning or just daydreaming to you all.

kind regards - Jab

Thanks for the welcome Paul - Hopefully I will be able to help as I have usually done most of the work that needed to be done myself with help from friends.

Thanks bradders - The thing is ive always been a bit of a bargain hunter so some of these cars I have ended up with need work - The 75 a car thats always been on my list came up for sale on ebay in ireland about 3 years ago. Its in good overall condition but a bit rusty underneath the engine so I thought if it goes for around £2500 I will go for it and thats what it went for in the end.
The 155 I have had a lot longer maybe 10 years. Its my first 2.5 155 and once again was going very cheap at the time when no one was interested in them. I think i paid about 500 for it and i used it as my daily driver for about a year when the rear exhaust broke and i parked it in my garden and its sat there for the last 5 years.
The roller has a sticky rear brakes other than that its pretty nice but i may sell it soon. The 164 is currently on a ramp as i decided to clean he parts u dont usually see - i will post a seperate thread showing what i have done.

anyway here are a few pics
