My heater fan packed up. Bought one from Steve Webb and saved myself a fortune, Cheers Steve :)

The one that i bought from Steve actually rotated the opposite way round. This means that the fan blades are also shaped the opposite way and try to suck air through the vents and not blow.

To rectify this you have to press both fan blades off of the motors anf swap them over. You then have to reverse the wiring on the replacement motor. A thin jewellers type screwdriver can be pushed down the connector to release the metal tabs. You can then just swap the positive/ground leads over in the connector.

Sounds a bit complicated (but it isn't) so if anyone needs more info let me know. :)

Not sure.

Were the Q4's all left hand drive? The fan came (i think)from a Q4 that Steve is breaking.

If this is the case then that would explain everything being the opposite way round.

Anyone else know?
