in November i took the drivers lower seat pad out and repaired the damaged heater mat. (not paying £2-300 for new) around mid-Late December it stopped working again... however... operation is intermittent. theres no ilumination at the switch, unless its having a good day.

swapped the switch from passenger seat, and still no luck. gonna try to swap the ECUs between seats at some point next week... all 3 fuses are good, Relay T21 works.

aside from the ECU being broken, it could be the repaired mat thats the problem... does anyone know
a) if disconnecting the lower mat would allow the back rest heater to become operational
b) what resistance the lower heater mat is
c) can i bridge the 2 pins for the lower heater mat to make the ECU think its got a working mat connected
