Hi Everyone,

I know there are plenty of posts regarding this but none with my specific situation as follows:-

Bulb out warning light comes on as soon as the ignition is switched on.

All bulbs are ok(checked 4 times!) -fogs front and rear, dipped, full beam. Reverse, brake lights and number plate bulbs all fine.

Rev counter is fine

No corrosion on bulb connectors

Is my only remaining option to replace all the bulbs in a vain search for the issue?!

Also, will it pass its impending MOT with the bulb light on? All lights are working, but the warning lamp is on.

Any help much appreciated.

Does a rear sidelight stay on very dim when the lights are OFF.

The warning lamp is not for headlights.... it does sidelights, brake lights, tail lights and number plate bulbs...

Iirc it also does 2 things... warning light on only when lights on is a bulb failure. On all the time then wire or fuse issue.

If bulbs all ok I'm with David C - could be the dodgy dash issue.... needs to be very dark to see if tail lights on dimly :)

Hi Guys, sorry for the delay in replying, a broken exhaust on my Bravo HGT has been occupying my time! I've checked all bulbs I think they are ok, will check to see if tail light is on dimly when it is dark tonight, does ignition have to be on to check? The warning lamp is on even when lights aren't.

What is the dodgy dash issue? The car did come with a receipt for replacing the rev counter?
