I've just switched to Osram Nightbreakers for my dipped beam and they're not bad either. The standard bulbs on the 147 are junk... not only that, the headlights are aimed a bit too low.

I don't know about the 156, it's a nightmare to swap out the H7 bulbs on the 147. The dipped beam bulbs are almost inside the wing and you have to be a contortionist to get your hand inside.

I have a facelift 156 and changing the bulbs are a piece of ****, minute or two each side. Dunno about the pre-facelift.

Now I've had a chance to check them it's the right hand side-light, so the dipped beam is fine, and as far as I know, the full beam is fine too (I didn't check!). I think that means it's not as urgent and that I can wait until the service, but should I upgrade my lights?
