Just one for me back in 1983!!

Old MK2 Escort (Dad's car) spun going round a tight bend into a fence post.

We're almost back on speaking terms now...:tut:

1. Slid backwards into a tree while practicing figure-of-8 handbrake turns. In my defence, I was getting REALLY good at it.

2. Rear ended by an old duffer who couldn't see me waiting to turn right, on a clear day, with my brake lights and indicators going. Damn fool.

3. Hit a mate's door when pulling into the next parking space (his passenger opened the door without looking).

4. Rolled a VW Polo, all my own work.

5. Crashed into a mate who had already crashed into a hedge, in the snow. Poetic justice as we'd both gone out to laugh at another mate who'd just crashed in the snow.

6. Was pulled out on by a woman who 'didn't see me', then after her husband got involved she tried to say it was my fault. Yeah, right.

7. Hit in the side by a girl in a BMW Mini, spun into the path of an oncoming 530. I may have said a swear word or three after this one.

It's not a very good record really, is it? :(

Two accidents where other drivers have crashed into the back of me, one wrote off my car and the other just cracked the back bumper.

Not had any accidents that were my fault

once when i was driving - 1997, some clown pulled out in front of my fiesta in a peugeot 405. he had the cheek to get out and start shouting and bawling at me for going too fast (bearing in mind this was manchester city centre i must've been doing at least ooh, 20mph?)

luckily 2 cars behind me was a police patrol car who saw it happen, the 405 driver soon shut his gob and admitted liability. the funniest thing was my fiesta needed new bonnet, grille, bumper, wing etc.. his 405 was a write off cos i hit him right on his front wheel and bent the bejesus out of his axle :D

the other time was when i was 17 and a passenger in my mate's mum's ancient old rwd passat, he took a long bend too quick and veered into oversteer before familiarising us with a dry stone wall at 60mph. got a nice bang on the head and friction burns off the seat belt. ouch!

1st accident was in my new toyota, a guy tried to turn but I was in his way (he was in the outside lane:rolleyes:)

2nd time we were in my dad's maxima and a guy turned left in front of us.(my birthday)

3rd time I was turning left, stopped in the intersections, and a crazy guy changed lanes coming towards me very fast, he hit my bumper and gouged the side of his girlfriends car. It was my fault cause I was in the intersection turning left even though he swerved to hit me:rolleyes: (my birthday)

next week is my birthday I'm always very careful driving on this day:eek:

1. Was 14 and crashed my first motorbike head on into a car takin a corner too fast -hospital for cracked ribs

2. Was 17 and on my way to school on my new bike and overtook a car on the brow of a concealed hill and again a head on collision me doin 60 and the car doin 60 the other way - hospital for broken leg, thumbs, feet and right ankle.

3. was a passenger in a work collegues car and she overtook a car without checking her mirror and slammed into a car in teh outside lane sending both cars into uncontrolled swerves and eventually us into a spin - walked away laughing

4. driving a mini cooper 's' at 90 at 5am along an empty dual carriageway and into a dark roundabout that rolled the mini into a pole at teh side of the roundabout - walked away completely deranged and very shaken (walked about 2 miles before started comin round to what had happened)

5. third bike going to work and came round a sharp bend to see the entire of my side of the road taken up by a school out walking on a 60mph road with no footpath so ended up pullin across to the other side and hittin a fiesta with no insurance mot or tax head on - hospital trip again and this time broken foot, right ankle, thumbs and humiliated for comin off my bike AGAIN!

6. diesel spill on a roundabout, doin maybe 20mph and slid off teh road and into a barrier destroying my beautiful custom car with noone to claim off

7. on private land (unofficially) racing 2 fiestas through a mountain road and comin off teh slippery pine needle and mud covered road onto clean tarmac and tried puttin the ass of the car out for a corner as had been doin and instead just steered directly into a wall at the side of the road - no injuries but again i felt very silly indeed.

speed and limited visibility were factors in every one of these so now i rarely speed and only overtake when i can see a serious distance in front
