Car is not used much now I've moved to Leeds, public transport here is very good.

Anyway went to the chippy on friday in the car, dash said NSR door open when it wasn't, slammed it few times at the chippy, no difference.

On the drive back the interior lights all came on, as if door open and refused to go out, save actually turning them off.

Back home, dicked around with it after reading here, plipper locks doors, lights flash, alarm arms, lights flash again, doors unlock. Alarm still on.

Twiddled with the NSR door manual lock button, loosened it a bit and now all is fine. For now. Have I got an impending problem?

Chips were rubbish BTW.

After four years wih my 166 I have all four locks changed. But it could be my fault as I mainly use high pressure car washes so I suspect I could force some water into them with time.

Seems to have gone away - for now at least!
Do the WD40 now then mate, as the locks move, it helps lubricate them.
