Hi All,

Ive got the Blaupunkt interface arriving in the post on Monday...

I intend to have the iPod outlet in the glove box as I want to hang onto the change drawer and not shout I HAVE AN IPOD IN THE CAR to any thieving monkey.

I can see in the 'box that there are a number of torque screws which appear to hold the 'box lining in place. There is a slightly bigger one at the back which looks like it would need to come out as well.

I am assuming if I remove this 'liner' then I will have easier access to route the cable into the glovebox.

Has anyone else had a go at this or equally now if I remove the glove box liner the bumper won't fall off etc etc..

Thanks!

I used the light fitting in my 156 glovebox, ie popped it out and fed the cable through that, so I didnt need to mess with any screws or anything else like that!

Ha Ha - that was my guide.

That interface comes with full instructions suitable for the GT and 147.

In any case, you will find it easy to route the cable into the GT glove box by anyone of various routes, and yes, you can take the glovebox lining right out.
