I park as far away from the door/trolley collection points as possible

I don't understand disabled parking bays closer to the store. Surely they walk around the store when they get there, another 20-30mtrs isn't going to kill them ?

Good friend has a body part missing and was offered to
be classified disabled (with associated "perks" such as parking)
but he fought tooth 'n' nail against it.

Now he's a bit older and relaxed he sees the funny side and
we sometimes joke about it.

It's only the people without disabilities that say stuff like "bad thread" ... I know a few people with handicaps and I can assure you they would all be fine with this thread.
