Been for a test drive today in a 155 1.8 TS 16V.Car was superb except for the handbrske warning light which was on for the entire test drive. The owner said it came on 2 weeks ago but the brakes themselves felt fine.Is the same as the light flashing on and off as mentioned previously or is it something else. Many thanks.

Rear brakes have seized (either side) or pads are worn.
Cheap to fix if you do the work yourself

Or check your clutch cylinder, was my problem, leaking fluid.

at the end you'll clutch problems and shifting won't work
