Hi guys, i have a alfa 147 lusso 1.6

One of the bolts holding down the handbrake has gone meaning the handbrake is moving about all over the place!!!

Im trying to gain access to replace the bolt (as seen in the pic) but the bolts seem to have been placed from the under side of the car! How can i replace these bolts with as little fuss as possible as i have tried from the cabin but with no sucess so it seems only from underneath the car is the way!

Would i need to remove anything to get access like the gearbox etc? or once i jack the car up is it easily acessable!

Manys thanks!!!

under the area where the hand brake is all you need to do is fold back some of the heat shield & then locate the hole where the bolt is missing from.

the bolt is an 8mm 'fine thread' with a large head/flat washer on it
