I have been fault searching for a problem with my parking sensor for some time now. (See separate thread)
And I have found out that the problem lies with the power wire somewhere between the connector visible under the rear bumper and to where it splits up going to each separate parking sensor behind the rear bumper.

So the bumper has to come off to get access.....

Can anyone give me a guide or a link to a guide on how to remove the rear bumper?
Techniques, bolt locations ect.

It's a pretty straight forward thing;

Remove inner covers from plastic inside the boot compartment.
Remove tail lights
Remove (2x side) philips screws holding inner wheelarch to bumper
Remove torx bolts (can't remember how many) holding the bumper
Gently prise off the bumper corners from each wing (press fit that can be tight)
Mind the power cable length of the sensors and license plate illumination (while pulling off the bumper)

Re-assembly in reverse order, but mind to install the bumper correctly with respect to its height on the boot entrance level! It schould be slid in a kind o rail, just in order to keep enough clearance with your boot lid. At mine the dealer did a rather bad job once, costing me ultimately to repaint the lower edge of the boot lid, as it kept on rubbing - hardly noticeably at first - to the bumper while driving. I always found it strange there was hardly play, but after refiiting myself I was only sure it wasn't done properly first time.

One more warning: do not overtighten your tail light nuts as it will break the unit and causing damp inside. Just make sure they won't cause any leakages after your done by checking with a garden hose.

I can now take on this job and hopefully get my parking sensor system working again!
I have truly been missing that!
