I would imagine that there are a few about, the sound quality on them was terrible and most would have been replaced by something else.

A few GTV owners will have them stashed under their beds etc.

I'd be interested in one too. Not for sound quality. Just for looks. I have the engine for audio enjoyment!

Hi Scherste, thank you. Yes I would like to buy it. I cannot send a message to you as you are a new member. Is there some other way I may contact you?

I have x2 OE Head Units (but not stashed under my bed though ) .. one in my GTV and the other as a spare and not for sale either.

Seeing how much original GTV mats last went for, I will hang on to these for another 10 years and they'll be worth "One Million Dollars"

I have an original silver radio cassette fitted too and yes, it sounds awful! I wanted to keep it original that's all. TBH I never listen to music in the Alfa though, just the Busso symphony!

Does anyone have one sat on a shelf they actually want to sell?

Dave - This is the problem now.. certain items are becomming scarce and original (no longer in distribution) items are not showing up. When I got my spare head unit, 2 years ago, there were x3 for sale on eBay for around £40.00 delivered (which is what I paid).

Sure, the sound quality is properly S:censored:TE but it is an original feature.

I wish you luck, but if anyone is selling, it will be top dollar and its that "cost and worth" decision.

In line with your predicament, I have spent 6 months looking for a set of OE GTV Mats and just by chance last night I found / immediately bought a second hand set in good condition - well worth the cost, as it finishes the interior originality of my V6.

So the moral of all that, is that if you keep checking eBay and the likes it may just turn up for you

I've got one but can't see a thing on the screen because it's bled
A specialist will be able to resolve this with a replacement LCD. If it's in working order apart from the display it's worth money and hang on to it!

Or sell it to the OP if you got no need.

It's only worth it if you're keeping a good example long term.

Good luck with your quest! The screen on my Clarion PU9907A Cassette Radio has also bled and I have been looking to repair/replace for almost two years now, without success.

The Clarion Service Centre themselves will not fix it. See below response

I am sorry after checking I have been informed by our parts department that the LCD is no longer available. I am sorry as I anticipate this is not the answer you were looking for.

Kind regards,

I had the same problem on a battered up one I had before and even de-soldered the screen to see if there were any part numbers or if I could source another. No luck unfortunately.
