Hi guys

Woke up this morning to find that some precocious scamp had scratched the paintwork. It doesn't look like anything too malicious, so I'm thinking I might give it a bash before admitting defeat and taking it to a body shop. The only (ie. first) hitch in my admittedly, hamfisted, masterplan is that the paint code has faded. Is there any fellow Metallic Black Gtv owners willing to assist in the defacing of my car?

Cheers all:)

Look on Pass side underbonnet, near the header tank on the inner wing, there should be a paint code sticker on the car there...

If you provide the paint shop with your VIN (or in some cases just your registration) they should have the vehicle and manufacturers paint code on file. :p
If you buy touch up from a professional supplier they will almost certainly ask for this information as the paint will have to be made up.
