the luggage space in 1995 and 1998 GTV models is different, 110 L and 155 L respectively. do you know why or there isn’t really any difference?

They replaced the spare tyre with a can!!

is it possible to fit a spare tyre on those later models?
won't feel safe with just a can.

yes, you will find that you will need the spare wheel, took kit, wheel cover and fixing kit to attach the tyre to the rear bulkhead.

if you can find a GTV/Spider in a breakers yard then take the whole lot from the boot, even the bits that hold the wheel to the car

1995 to 1998 was too early for tyreweld instead of spare. i've had a 1998 ph 1 and a 1999 ph2 and the boot space is different, with more space available as shelf space either side of where the battery is located and a tad more depth overall

Mine's a 2004 and has the tyre too. I thought the tyreweld was an option.
