I have just fitted a straight thru stainless exhaust pipe which replaces the last 2 boxes on my 1999 gtv 2.0 ts and i'm a bit disappointed with the sound. It is louder than standard but not by much. Would replacing the centre box with a straight thru pipe make it very loud and boomy? What about replacing the centre box with a raggazon centre box? Any ideas would be welcome.

The center box which you still have is responsible for most of the silencing.

If you replace it with a straight pipe the car will be very loud if you have removed the other 2 boxes.

I would fit a ragazzon silenced center box. If you look on Alfisti.net thet sell 2 types, a larger one and a smaller one.

The small one may also be too loud if you have no other silencing. It depends on what you want really.
