Hello,
Advice please.
Went to start my GTV but battery flat.
Recharged battery and reset the alarm which off course went haywire when reconnected battery.
Started car with no issues and idled for a few minutes.
Went to increase rpm and engine will rev to 1500-1800rpm but then misfires very badly and will not run over 2000rpm at all i.e. does not respond to throttle peddle.
Engine will happily idle again and continue to idle up to operating temperature but still will not rev.
Any ideas.
Battery seems fine. Have I disturbed anything? Do I need to carry out a ECU reset?
Car has been in garage for 6-8 weeks without being used:tut: I am embarrassed to admit but ran fine before being parked up.
I have had a flat battery before but on replacing it never had these issues.
Many Thanks.

Many Thanks
I will try this tomorrow and report back.
Sounds very plausible but never had it before when replacing a dead battery.
That will teach me to leave her for so long. Clearly sulking!! like many women when given insufficient attention.

Misfire throttle sorted

Whey hay!!
Performed the throttle reset procedure and despite some trepidation it worked.
Brilliant.
Thanks to the Alfa forum.
Now must use her more often and keep on top of battery.
Trickle charger on order
Happy GTV owner again.:)
