Hi All
Posted this on intro presume this is a better area to et answers!
Some advice please.
Have just returned from away trip with work. During this time wife had to have GTA recovered by AA due to rough noise on starting.
Diag codes were for Misfiring cylinders 4,5,6 codes P0300,0304,0305,0306. and P0571 Brake circuit A.
On trying to start battery was flat. As still original battery on 51 plate started with this and replaced with new one.
Cleared codes.
On starting up again same 4,5,6 cylinder misfire codes and multiple misfire code, no brake code so presume this is old.
As 4,5,6 is all front bank together my ideas would have been poss ECU. or could there be potential mechanical damage to front bank as can hear poss knocking noises, not sure as engine obviously very throaty.
Alfa has 95k on clock but has had reg servicing, due one now.
Any ideas?
Based in East London any local independents recommend

Take it to Felice at Sunnyside in Chadwell Heath! Might be better to get AA to TOY it there just in case belt has slipped a tooth.

Hi have checked old receipt cambelt replaced at 60,000 so only 36,000 ago.
Presume there is only one belt. If so surely the back bank would be affected as well. Currently is running fine.!!
Cheers

No it wouldn't,on the v6's the pulley slips on the cam,as it is a tappered interference fit.:)
