So, my resolutions for 2012 (if not done before) are to:

Find/fix rear clunkage.
Replace top wishbones
Discs & pads all round.
Re-seal sideskirt sections that are starting to come away.

Anyone else got a to-do list for their car for next year?

Try to crack the 100,000 mile barrier! I seem to be stuck on 99,000 and not using it as much at the moment - should hopefully be around January time....

Get my drivers seat tear repaired.

Other than that, just the normal servicing, and routine replacement of front suspension components!

Sadly not spend anything. I took her to Autolusso for a relatively routine job (fit ARBs) and they found some issues that needed fixing and that spent the 2012 budget. So nothing other than servicing next year. Although I scuffed an alloy at the weekend :)mad:), so will need to get a replacement powder coated one for that.

Cheers,

Nigel

Where do I start?

Q2
Eibach ARBs
Koni FSDs
New rad inc various pipes and hoses
A set of PE3s
Maybe CF2 manifolds
Then tidy up the paint work ;)

I think that's it :)

Get the not very good remap dealt with.

Routine maintenance should swallow the rest of 2012's budget.

Respray of rear bumper, roof and tailgate so it matches the rest of the respray es bits done last summer!

Source a reasonably priced set of 330mm brakes and then get drivers seat bolster replaced before the leather gets damaged.

About £1400 all in! Money I have not got and am unlikely to find!

My upper wishbones are creaking (I only replaced them 30 months ago with OEM items:rolleyes:) so they need doing at some point.

'Corroded' brake pipes from the front calipers were noted on the MOT last March. In reality they simply need a very light clean up and a lick of paint.

The baffles in the back box have been shot since I got the car, maybe in 2012 I'll finally replace it!

I'd love to get the front end painted. It's not terrible, but having that done would bring the car right up to where I want it to be.......how busy work is will be a decisive factor here though.

....and as many have posted......"to drive her more"

GTA Resolutions hmmmmm
Long list me tinks for me, i have already put my car down as SORN so my aim is to have her back on the road for the Start of July hopefully sooner.
I will try to..
-Replace Upper and Lower Front Wishbones and fit polybushes to the whole lot.
-Replace Antiroll bar for whatever i can get hold of with Polybushes for the bar mounts
-Fit adjustable droplinks that i made back in Spring/Summer
-Downpipes are a bit squashed so i aim to get some GTV manifolds and equal length front pipes
-Need to repair bumper after damage caused by driveway and will fit Alu undertray
-Need to replace both front Inner arches and repair rust bubble on drivers wing
-Re-gas A/C just to top-up
-Need to do Engine Oil Service with new filter
-Modify lower strut brace to clear downpipes if possible
-Fit upper Strut brace
-Whilst suspension is apart i will send Gearbox off to get Q2 fitted and i think i will repalce clutch at same time
-Replace all engine and Gearbox mounts and polybush upper Engine steady
-Maybe replace rear suspension arms if money allows
-Give a good clean

This is starting to sound like a complete rebuuild but i got 6 months so should be ok :)
It should be a great learning curve as i have never really got my hands all that dirty on my GTA

1. Get engine back in!!!!
2. Make engine bay look much nicer
3. Sort out front right wing which is dented
4. Get drivers seat bolster remade
5. Lower and improve suspension, but only if i can afford to do it properly!
