Has any one had trouble timming up gta cams
Are 3.2 and 3.0 cam blocks different ?

I bought 3.2 timing blocks off totally Alfa but they don't look any different from the 3.0 blocks and they have diffrent numbers to what they advertise I have emailed them twice with no response .

The problem i have is I set the timing up the the right tension and when I turn it over it gets to a point were the belt is losse between the v on the idler I can even turn it and then the tensinor side is to tight . I'm now lost I have tried it 5 times I've even ordered another new belt kit to see if it's that

The 3.2 cam locks are definitely different to the 3.0 for all 4 cams.

If the belt is slack that means it has not been tensioned correctly! The cam pulleys need to be rotating freely on their tapers when you put the tension on the belt. This way the tension is transmitted correctly around the entire belt.

Most likely the cam pulleys are sticking and need to be loosened..
