Read an article in Auto Italia the other day while waiting for my bella to be done. Very interesting.

States there that Autodelta do a tuning/howsthisforpower/ to a 156 2.0ts that basically matches it to a GTA.
Involves a supercharger and a few other goodies ( but nothing internal!) and it pushes the output on par with a GTA but with 25% less fuel costs.

Interesting read.

They've been doing a supercharger mod for ages, only problem is it costs about £4k and I expect you don't save a huge amount on fuel. I don't know exactly which parts they replace in the engine, but the extra pwer will cause a lot of extra stress to the engine and surely shorten it's lifespan.

I did email them asking these very questions about longevity etc. a while back when I was considering the turbo upgrade on the spider and they never responded (I emailed them more than once too)

I think Jano is quite famously not very good at the old electronic communication - he has an excellent reputation for his actual work though.
I know which I'd prefer him to be good at ;)
